Translator (Japanese Language) （求人番号：25415）

Our client is a Japanese manufacturing company. This role of a Japanese Translator is to handle general administration & interpretation between local employee and Japanese expats. You will also handle document translation both Japanese to English/Mandarin or English/Mandarin to Japanese. You will be reporting to the respective managers.

【What you will be working on】
- Translating emails and technical documents from Japanese to English and vice versa efficiently
- Provide bilingual interpretation for local staff and Japanese staff
- Handle and respond to phone calls from suppliers in English, Mandarin and Japanese
- Ensured that all written translations conform to the original text concerning technicality and terminology
- Proofread end documents and make any necessary changes
- Ensure that context and nuance of the language used is not altered during translation and interpretation
- Compile and analyze the trends of both the orders and sales of products from Japan Headquarters for production planning purposes

【What we're looking for】
- Bachelor Degree in Japanese Literature or equivalent
- Fluent in Japanese (JLPT1 or equivalent) in order to translate Japanese documents to English and vice versa
- Fluent in Mandarin in order to translate Japanese documents to Mandarin (for internal communication) and vice versa
- Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply
- Comfortable to work in Tuas
- Willing to work long-term
