The role of a Manager (Automotive) is to propose and implement strategic solutions to fulfill client's needs. Main clients are Japanese Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology companies.

【What will you be working on】
・Driving insights, develop initiatives and engage stakeholders across different functions to set strategic directions and rationale that lead to operational change and execution.
・Engaging in strategic issues for senior-level clients including C-Suite executives especially within automotive OEM and mobility services.
・Identify opportunities and define strategies for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing the scope of work.
・Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products.
・Responsible for business development, project pursuits, as requested.
・Understand the goals of the company, align our people to these objectives by setting clear priorities and direction by establishing a positive relationship with senior stakeholders.

【What they're looking for】
・Posses a recognized degree from a top-tier academic institution; MBAs from leading institutions will be preferred
・Posses at least 8 years of experience of the following
- Strategy consulting experience within automotive OEM and mobility services with experience of engaging in strategic issues
or
- Corporate Strategy/Corporate Planning in automotive OEM and mobility services companies
・Able to speak Japanese to liaise with Japanese clients.
・Experience in liaising with senior-level clients including C-Suite executives
・Strong understanding of the automotive and mobility industry and latest shifts in the market across a breadth of topics such as connectivity, autonomous, sharing, electric vehicles and of value chain such as new car manufacturing, sales and marketing, after service, used car management, and auto financing.
・Experience with digital strategy engagements within automotive services such as innovation strategy, value proposition design, ecosystem approaches, etc., will be considered valuable.
・Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
・Leadership qualities, project management skills, and the ability to mentor;
・Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently;
・Emotionally intelligent: high ability to build strong relationships that inspire openness and trust; to collaborate in teamwork settings with colleagues and clients; and to balance inquiry and advocacy in all personal interactions;
