Our client is a Japanese comprehensive heavy-industry manufacturer. The successful candidate will be required to speak and write in Japanese due to daily liaison and communication with the Global Helpdesk located in Japan. There will be no travelling required for this role. You will be reporting to the CFO/GM.
【What will you be working on】
- ICT Support for users of Regional ICT Services - Inquiry response, troubleshooting
- Report, Confirmation and Negotiation with HQ/ICT Administrator in Japan about ICT support
- Proposal to improve ICT support and operation process
- ICT Asset Management – Computers, Server, Network, Mobile Phone, Software Licenses etc.
- Procedures of contract and application for ICT procurement
- Procedures of application for ICT Service Usage
- Related roles assigned by Regional ICT Manager

【What they're looking for】
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science related field
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in ICT support
- Knowledge of ICT (Computer, Software, Network) to support L2 layer class
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email (Office 365)
- Ability to read/write/converse in Japanese (JLPT N1) is required to liaise and communicate with Japan HQ/IT Service Administrator of Global Helpdesk in Japanese
- Able to work independently as well as an effective team player, possess a positive working attitude, energetic and proactive
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A hands-on person with initiative, confident and able to communicate effectively |
