Our client is a Japanese trading firm. The role of an IT Assistant Manager/Manager is to be responsible for regional rollouts of digital transformation. You will be working closely with HQ and the Digital Strategy Department in Tokyo. You will be reporting to the Dept. Head.
【What you will be working on】
- Manage regional rollouts of digital transformation initiatives, ensuring on target delivery
- Manage the progress of collaboration with the vendor
- Manage application/service development projects, utilizing Python and/or Java
- Assist in promoting DX within the region, as well as attending to requests for advice from entities in the region
- Create and review various documents in Japanese and English (policies, projects, investments)
- Plan and create regional information sharing platforms in Japanese and English (such as new business plan discussion papers, DX seminar decks, proposals, DX surveys, DX letters, etc.)
- Plan and run the annual regional DX conference

【What are they looking for】
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of IT-related experience, inclusive of Digital Transformation, in any industry
- Hands-on experience with using Python and Java
- Japanese language competence (minimum JLPT N2 level) to liaise with Japanese counterparts
- Project management skill for application/service development project will be beneficial
- Open for a 3 years contract role (renewable subjected to business needs) |
