Banking Operation Officer (Japanese Language)（求人番号：31447）

Our client is a Japanese bank, with a focus on banking services whilst providing a range of financial services. Working in the Operations Department, the incumbent identifies and supports the Front Office's needs in all aspects of Operations on top of assisting the Middle Office. You will be reporting to the Head of Operations.

【What will you be working on】
- Credit administration upon establishment of new credit relationship with customers such as preparing credit documentation.
- Credit risk evaluation process such as credit review.
- Conduct regular credit reviews and monitoring of existing customers.
- Translating credit assessments from Japanese to English.
- Conducting CDD; "Customer Due Diligence" and KYC; "Know Your Customer" during on-boarding and periodic reviews.
- Liaising with customers in requesting clarifications on inward and outward remittances and other compliance related queries.
- Preparing the relevant materials and/or reports for meetings required by the Front Office.

【What they're looking for】
- Accredited degree from a reputable university
- Able to converse (JLPT1) and read in Japanese for the purpose of translations to English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the banking industry is an advantage
