Senior Accountant/Accountant (Japanese Speaking) ×2（求人番号：32129）

Our client is a new business organisation that is under a listed leading IT company from Japan. As a Senior Accountant/Accountant, the incumbent will be responsible for operational accounting activities to ensure all financial transactions, internal controls, and external compliance have been effectively and efficiently performed.

【What you will be working on】
- Handle intercompany transactions to ensure accurate monthly closing, necessary documentation, and appropriate/timely settlement.
- Gather necessary data/documents, input journals to the accounting system, review results, and contribute to timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts, quarterly closing, and annual closing as a team member.
- Comply with IFRS/SFRS accounting/group accounting standards, and ensure strict legal, tax, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure all financial transactions meet internal controls of the group’s standards.
- Closely and proactively communicate with the team as well as window persons in other departments.
- Support consolidated accounting for subsidiary companies.
- Assist treasury and tax-related operations depending on the assignment.
- Assist in any other assignment or special projects as assigned.

【 What they are looking for 】
- Bachelor's Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience (for the Senior Accountant role).
- At least 2 years of accounting experience (for the Accountant role).
- Handling intercompany transactions.
- Prior experience in SAP.
- Fluent in (business level) English in order to liaise with English-speaking counterparts.
- Proficient in spoken Japanese (JLPT3) in order to liaise with Japanese-speaking counterparts is a must.
